Got the following emails from google

Google Account recovery phone number changed
Google Account security question information changed

If my gmail was jimbo.bob@gmail.com the email address it was meant for would be something like bobfred123@gmail.com. It's either spam, a scam, or an error I guess. Any thoughts?

Just ignore it. Either phishing or someone entered your email address as an alternative address by mistake.

Incorrectly addressed email on gmail isn't that uncommon, especially since a . period isn't supported (well it is, it just ends up being an alias).
