Hey all, Skype is driving my batty! I have googled this but surprisingly found very little..

It keeps throwing this pop-up at me and is infuriating.

Any clues as to how to disable this?

I'm guessing you did the 'signup with google acct option', as that is google throwing an authentication error? Could denote a PW change on your gmail or similar is now out of sync. Or permissions removed from somewhere for it to access your google acct

A quick google also indicates it will attempt to sync contacts if allowed. So you can always go into the contacts section and turn it all off to local skype contacts only..

Googlesyndication is used by Google DFP for ad delivery. My guess is that Skype is showing some ads that are third party serviced and that third party is using Google DFP and Google is freaking out.

I have Skype always on open on my machines and don't see this. Are you sure you don't have some malware on your PC?

Yeah, its definitely an ad thing, I've never had it before and then in the last month its appeared. Pretty sure my PC is clean. Whats the latest and greatest malware too these days and I'll try that.

Appreciate the feedback
