This isn't critical - just soul destroying. 😊

I'm running W10 / Firefox (but the same happens in Chrome so it's not Firefox to blame).I have been using LastPass for a year or three, and it still works. But something has changed. Every site is potentially different, but recently none have been loggin in automatically. I have to login manually (by which I mean tell Lastpass to log me in).

Now it could be that Lastpass has changed - but would have expected to be told. More likely a "cleanup" I did recently using a "one off free trial" from AVG might have done something (I thought I had limited the options before it ran and only ran "ultrasafe" ones). Or possibly something completely unrelated.

I had expected this problem to clear - but it's been there for a couple of weeks and it would be nice to get back to "the good old days". I've finally decided to admit my folly to those who doubtless can tell me how to get around whatever simple thing I did wrong.

Thanks

I guess it depends on where the password is saved and what options are set i the application. For me, the auto login feature does seem to work.

Have a look at https://helpdesk.lastpass.com/editing-an-existing-site-entry/ and expand the 'Password, Username, and Note History' section. Under the Advanced settings section at the bottom of the screen, there is a 'AutoLogin' check box. Try that.

Turns out it was a bit simpler than expected. After the silly season settled down, I twigged that this issue arose about the same time as I became aware of another issue and turned on private browsing mode. Suddenly everything's back to normal.

Now if only I could remember why I turned on private browsing mode 😊.

Sorry about that chief.

Moved to "Desktop Computing" because it's really not a Windows question.
