I notice that Chrome has updated itself, and that my new tab homepage thumbnails are gone - replaced with larger round versions of Favicons.

 

Damn annoying.

im not loving the new look... reminds me of a older firefox or even flock... but im stuck with it.

I don't mind it but also thought I had opened the wrong browser at first lol. All of google stuff seems round now.

You'll get used to it (most likely) - this happens all the time e.g. when FB changes their UI, everyone complains, then when they change it again, people say "I liked it the old way", when the old way was the one they originally complained about.
