Hi folks,

I've just rescued a WD1200BEVE 2.5" drive from a dead laptop and want to put it into a desktop. Unfortunately without proper jumper settings it seems to wreck havoc on the desktop.

The trouble is I can't find any specs anywhere that tells me which pair is master/slave. Has anyone had any experience with this model? Or is there a rule of thumb when it comes to this?

Cheers,
Dany.

D'oh! Nevermind...worked it out by trial'n'error and having the drive on its own IDE channel
