I've recently upgraded my motherboard to asus p5ql-em. This model comes with an integrated graphics x4500 from intel.
This is not my first upgrade, but it is the first I've had problems with.
my config is:
- asus P5QL-EM (my previous mobo was P5VDC-X)
- Kingston 2x1 gb DDR2 667mhz
- Intel pentium D 805 2,67ghz (fsb 533 mhz)
- hdd>WD caviar6400 sata300
- psu> Chieftec 350w
- e-mu 0404 (para musica) PCI card
After installing and double checking connections I've powered it up and the board signaled:
1 long 2 short beeps ...again and again.
As I understand these should suggest a video error...
Anyway, I've downloaded the latest bios update, unzipped it and stored it on FAT32 formatted usb flash disk.
Problem is I cannot access EZ flash utility, the board keeps beeping, and there is no POST screen.
Is there any other method of accessing bios update? (I do not have working pci-express card to plug into this board).
Thanks
