Anyone had a play with one yet? I have one ordered so it should be here in a couple of weeks. I'll most likely just be using a run of the mill 600w powersupply as thats what I have sitting around new in its box. I would have liked something like a 1TB SSD but not at the current prices. Im sure I have a spare 240 in my box of bits - cheapest 1TB is more than I paid for the computer!

Havent decided on fans yet.  Or a case.

I do have a set of xbox 360 controllers which should work fine with it, as well as another wireless controller. And I have a USB bluetooth/wireless dongle coming.  For extra storage I guess I'll use one of my many external drives that are sitting around!

Im thinking bazzite for the OS.

This is really interesting. I am late to the party however, are there any decent deals still out there?

They seem to be creeping up in price. Aliexpress has some OK deals hence why I got one.  It was under $300 shipped with GST etc.  Not sure if it will be a new or used one at this stage.  I have spares of most stuff sitting around.  I'll post it all up when its working (or not working!).  Might not make it to the priority pile for a few weeks though!

Looks interesting, great to see the hardware being repurposed.

I'm just printing the front half of my case then I'll actually plug it all up and see if it works. $380 I guess isn't too bad but I did get mine for a little under $300 landed. Excluding the ssd and power supply I already had I would estimate it's cost me $400 including a USB Bluetooth and wireless card. That includes the second lot of filament for the case as I didnt have enough left after the first failure - no spaghetti monster involved, just the whole side broke off!

Ive finally got my BC-250 all up and running.  Forgot lots of little bits I needed (like the fan splitter).  Found out the switch I bought to turn it on/off doesnt work but is locked on which for now is fine till I get around to replacing it.  The powersupply switch on the back works so all good.  My new bluetooth adapter may or may not be working, it doesnt seem to want to enable.  My Xbox 360 controllers with the USB dongle are working well.

Noise levels arent too bad considering Im running dual fan and a desktop powersupply.

Bazzite seems to be ok so far but I havent really had much time to test anything out yet.

Temperatures seem to be ok, not fantastic but I havent seen any major spikes yet.  I do need to find a better way of mounting the side fan though. Currently its zip tied to the case.  While it works its not pretty.  I guess I'll be designing some sort of print for it!

Its certainly not a little build!  Size wise its about half the height of a mid tower case.  I'll post pics over the coming days!

And BEST thing being NO RGB!!!

My plan is to test it with Warframe on my bedroom TV over the next few days when I get time.  And to work out a way to stop little miss must sit on everything from sitting on it - Im pretty sure cat fur wont help with cooling!  Although if she does she might get a toasty bum!

Total cost excluding the PS/SSD/Controllers was around $400 including two boxes of filament.  Total time taken was waaaaaaay too much.  Actual use will most likely to waaaaaay too little....
