Specs are:
Intel E8400
Palit HD4850 512MB
4GB generic RAM
Asus P5QL-E
Benq LCD monitor
Windows 7 64bit
Corsair HX520W power supply

The computer's working fine since Jan last year. Today I booted it up and it wouldn't register any keystrokes on my keyboard. So, I restarted the pc and I get a blank screen.

The pc is running fine in the background, its just that I don't get any video output at all. I tried both DVI ports, removed and reattached power cords, removed and put back the graphic card. Nothing seems to work.

Even tried connecting to my TV via a DVI-to-VGA adapter.

I got video out working one or two times when doing all of this. But it goes away as soon as I restart.

Someone please help.

Tried taking the card out then re installing it to make sure it's seated correctly?  Pins might not be contacting in the slot due to vibration or if you've moved/bumped the case.

Next step is probably trying it in a different machine to isolate whether it's the card or something else in your machine (mobo, psu) that's causing the issue.

If it's the card, it's time to RMA back via wherever you got it from.
