One of my Belkin UPS has just raised a flag saying it needs the battery replaced. Is there any benefit in replacing it, or shall I look at getting an entire UPS replacement?

Most UPS batteries are standard lead acid batteries that you can pick up from a battery wholesaler. Just be aware that there is a difference between a standard lead acid and one for a UPS which has bigger terminals.
