Hi

I have a 1.1 Mac Pro workstation with twin dual core Xeon 3Ghz chips.

I want to replace the boot drive (750Gb) with a larger one - probably 1.5Tb.

HDDs are a bit of a mystery to me, with so many variations nowadays.

Can anyone make a recommendation and suggest a reliable supplier? I have Seagates in my Drobo, but they came super cheap from my American-dwelling brother last time he visited and he is not coming any time soon.

Thanks.

if your seagate drives are going well, just stick with them bro. Any standard HDD should work.

Thanks; I ordered one from Paradigm as they had it in stock and had good feedback.

Still pretty expensive here in NZ though. Same drive in UK costs NZ$80 - here it is NZ$150!
