My partners latop a Samsung is having issues connecting. Well the wireless connects fine, says there is a connection to the internet, but when trying to browse, nothing happens.

ipconfig /all shows all the correct info. I can ping sites, including the router address.  Just can't browse

Ideas why not?

If you can ping domains then you have a connection to the internet and it won't be a DNS issue.

It's got to be a browser issue then, what browser are you using?

Its funny really, someone had blocked the ip address that the laptop was using in the router. Laughing

Not funny that someone else has access to the configuration pages...
