Hi All

I am a Marriage Celebrant and I also am an Independent  Consultant for Total Learning

I need a robust billing & project management software. I have had a look at the following software but want to know is there anything else that is better, has a great interface and a desktop product as well

  • Twopeaks BillRate 1.0
  • TimeTTracker MX 8.02.0202

BillRate is ok, but does not have a great reporting section other than excel, I like TimeTTracker which can export to other formats like Quicken, XTML etc also it can show info in graphs. I current have version R8 but it can not sync to my Apache as it comes up with

Error code: -2147024891 (0x80070005)

CallAdoFiltrFunc: "DESKTOPTODEVICE"; ActiveSync request failed in library :C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\adofiltr.dll".

Access is Denied

Which is annoying, I can just use the PPC version and export to XTML which my accountant can still use...

Just want to know if I am missing anything

Cheers All Cool

This looks like a problem with ActiveSync. Try reinstalling it.

  • date of project
  • project type (wedding, renewal, naming ceremony)
  • cost per hour or project
  • amount charged
  • billed /billable
  • travel / mileage
  • export to excel, quicken, ms money etc

Believe me, it's better than you can see on the screenshots. Darryl did a great job - before joining Microsoft...

I use BOnTime myself in my consulting gigs.
