1 x Apache (new firmware) + cradle + ActiveSync, two scenario's.

1.    When I connect the bosses Apache via the cradle to my PC, ActiveSync fires up and it syncs and it's all fine and dandy

2.   When I connect it to the bosses laptop (which is docked), AS fires up and after about 20 seconds of thinking, the Apache loses it's T3G connection.

The cradle was plugged into the docking station but I have tried plugging it straight into the laptop, same results as scenario 2. I have also unticked the Power Management Option for the USB root hubs...same again.

The msg on the Apache goes something like "Cannot connect with current connection settings. to change settings...blah blah
On AS, it's "the server could not be reached. This can be caused by temporary network conditions. Support code: 85002003

Any advice appreciated (as always!)

Sandy

Right...after numerous hours (doesn't time fly when you're having fun??!!), I've discovered that when the bosses laptop was rebuilt, they only installed AS 4.1. I've installed 4.2 and so far so good.
