I have approximately 60 users who are currently using ActiveSync to connect and sync with an Exchange 2k3 mail server. I am connecting to a Wind2k3 native network. I have one user using an Audiovox xv6700 that is unable to sync and receives the 0x85010001 error. I have checked his AD profile and all seems to be correct. He and I have the same phone and I can sync without fail. I have also hard reset his phone and set it to sync with my profile successfully. He can sync successfully from his cradle. His Outlook Mobile Services are all enabled. (I have disabled then reenabled them). He is using Windows Mobile 5.0 and ActiveSync 4.2, as am I. I have 5 XV6700 phones out there and they all sync successfully except him.

Are you able to synchronise this same account to a different device? If not, have a look on this KB article.

I am using Exchange 2K3 clustered with a Front end server so both methods are out. I cannot sync using his profile on my phone.  Any other help would be appreciated.
I now have 4 users out of the 60 who are having this issue. I also have 2 users who are unable to send messages. They get the error that they need to delete some mail from their exchange mailbox. One of them moved all mail from his mailbox and still gets that error. I have hard reset his phone and the error still occurs.
