Hey gang...
I'm having a little trouble with my All-in-One hp officejet d145 and would like some feedback if anyone has any ideas...

When trying to fax a page to somene I sometimes get an error message which states..."Scanner Failure - turn power off then on again" and it then self tests and shuts off then I can fax until the next time that the error message reappears....grrrrr!

I am using the Microsoft XP home edition as my OS and the computer type is a Sony Viao...any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Sgt.

Perhaps the lamp is faulty? Scanners need sometime to heat up, and perhaps the lamp is not working well? Or is it a LED based scanner?
