Hi

I have a an HTC 8S and received a  message today that said "Media content in this message".   When you look at this message it just says 'getting media content.

This is a Telecom phone but was reset (it was purchased 2nd hand).

Found this http://help.telecom.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/30700/~/check-mms-settings---htc-windows-phone-8s   but there is no option to 'Automatically Download MMS'.  It is simply not there.

Have added the APN details as per http://help.telecom.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/32218/~/setup-mms-apn-manually---windows-phone-8

A
ny ideas?

 - thanks

Try sending a MMS to see if it successfully sends, but off the top of my head the phone should come pre-programmed. Might be easier popping into a Telecom store to get them to check it out for you.

I never use MMS myself, but I believe if you download the Nokia app called Access Point, and run it, it will set all those Telco settings properly automatically
