I have just received a Sony-Ericsson P800 for testing and tried to use it as Bluetooth modem for my iPAQ 3970 (running pocketPC 2002). I've bonded both devices and tried to connect to internet but no result. After trying to configure the different connection's setting on the iPAQ still no result.

After that, I put the iPAQ on the USB craddle but surprisely, ActiveSynch (3.7.1) didn't start ! The USB craddle is connected to an USB port of a FSC Laptop running Win XP. All was working fine before the bluetooth test !

What's the problem ? How can I make my iPAQ 3970 detected again by ActiveSynch ?

Thanks for any suggestions !

Have you tried a soft reset yet?

Yes, I have already tried a soft reset.

But hopefully, I have investigated further and resolved the issue.

1/ Connect the iPAQ via IR interface to the laptop
2/ Start ActiveSynch on the iPAQ
3/ Start ActiveSynch on the laptop
4/ Start GET CONNECTED on the laptop
5/ During the detection, activate the ActiveSynch on the iPAQ via IR
6/ Normally, ActiveSynch will detect the iPAQ again !

Now I can put my iPAQ on the USB craddle and make it detected by ActiveSynch !

I hope this will help the others !
