If you're after Skype on a S60 device have you looked at Fring?

The biggest problem with any of the current applications supporting Skype is that they all go through proxy servers which are typically in Europe. Maybe one day we will see a proper S60 version of Skype in the marketplace.

I d/l the one for the n 73 and it works fine.
On the home wifi network  in anycase
Ill certainly look at Fring as well-occassionally I have used skype on my Jasjar out in the field in my caching hobby and its got me out of a few sticky situations. Even got an invite for a feed and cuppa from a local contact when I was in auckland

I use Fring on my Pocket PC. It's great - SIP, Twitter, Skype, MSN all in one.

Clumsy UI, but still a single program for all this... And free!

I'd never actually played with iSkoot but after investigating it now it does infact use your regular plan to call a Skype contact. It's not like Fring which is 100% VoIP and uses a WLAN or 3G data connection.

3 are using iSkoot on their phones to offer a Skype service and it works in the exact same way.
