I sync with my desktop and laptop. My 1945 was doing a hard reset every week or so until I updated the ROM. Runs great now, but when I sync it for the first time with my desktop, it says - never been sync'd. No problem. However, if I sync with the laptop, even though I'm using the same device name as before, or if I copy all the files over to the new laptop folder, it randomly creates duplicate entries, like in contacts.
The real annoying one is having duplicate alarms. Only 5 alarms appear, but when they go off, the sound is duplicated and shows duplicate alarms!
Any way around this, a way to delete the duplicate alarm? Should I just delete the connection on the laptop and allow the pda to reload everything over to the laptop?

Hmmm.. Tricky one, and I've put a suggestion to Microsoft on a way to go around this.
For now, sync with your desktop, then your laptop, then your desktop. Now open Outlook, find the duplicate entries and delete then. This will replicate to your PDA, and then you sync to your laptop, where they'll be deleted as well.
