Hi all,

I'm having serious issues with connecting my 3650 to my pc. Was able to set up an infrared device, only keeps disconnecting after transferring a few pics. Then bought a serial data cable. In Mrouter, phone hangs as "connecting". Then bought a USB data cable. Same thing. How do I sync my phone with the pc?

Any and all advice appreciated...

Hope this topic isn't too old, boring, repetitive to be answered....??? have searched thru bits of this forum & all connectivity q's are usually about bluetooth & I don't have a dongle....

:) Simone

first off. Nokia 3650 doesnt support serial or usb cable connection, it doesn't have a data port.

Nokia 3650 supports Bluetooth or infraRed. sorry to say that but you'll have to try with bluetooth connection, it works better than infrared. but it is mRouter that is buggy and hard to set up. One reason why i changed to imate Smartphone2 is to make sure my contacts are perfectly transfered from MS Outlook to the phone. Nokia PC Suite doesn't map the contacts' details correctly.

When choosing bluetooth dongle, make sure you got the right one, seems like TDK is the preferred recommendation, i got Dlink which works alright.

You can check up for nokia 3650's connection method from nokia forum. Sorry if this didn't come as a good news to you.
