By installing another rom will i lose all information including my operating system/WM5

Hi Kris,

please be a bit more specific, what sort of rom?

in general the answer to your question is yes, however it depends on the type of rom flash you are undertaking,

eg, replacing the radio stack rom will not destroy your settings, but replacing the main rom will.

I notice you are concerned about ROM flashing, and losing your WM5 setup, but are posting in the Palm Operating System forum.

Could you confirm what device model you have? And what ROM you are looking at putting on it?
