Hi,
Hoping someone can help. I have been using the SIP functionality on the N95 to use my VoipCheap account. The connection is via WLAN. The problem, though, is that after the call is finished the connection to the WLAN is not dropped. It means that after my wife made a call the WIFI connection is still live (little phone over web icon displayed). Battery goes dead in no time due to this. Anyone know why the connection isn't dropped? Or how to set it somewhere?

By the way, the SIP functionality is superb. Works a treat when making calls from Contacts and quality is excellent. And with the free landlines calling through VoipCheap it doubles tyhe number of free minutes you have, i.e. those from your network and those from VoipCheap.

Royhid (I hope this is in the right forum)

It is because the phone stays connected to your VOIP provider so incoming calls can get to you.

what if ,if you wanted to make another call ? i think that's why it stays connected. after using SIP calls what i do is go to "Internet tel." which is under "Connectivity" and disconnect the service.
