Does anyone know what I should do to bring my calendar back into the correct timezone? My ASUS 1210 and all windows boxes did not attempt to come out of DST, however, the JasJar did and now my calendar events are an hour early.

I had the same problem with a Pocket PC I got during DST and forgot to update. Simply install the NZ DST Update, change the timezone to something else, tap OK, change the timezone back to New Zealand, tap OK, adjust the correct time.

There is a good guide here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/daylightsaving/default.mspx

I just went through the process as well!

Cheers, Matt.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Thanks again for the saving of what's left of my sanity. It was interesting, the ASUS 1210 appeared fine, but when the JasJar was corrected the ASUS displayed out of sync, patched the ASUS and now everyone knows the time.

oh dear. JarJar and Asus 1210 where fine for 2 weeks, this week they have shifted existing appointment out 1 hours, i.e. an appointment at 9am last week is 10am this week, has anyone else encountered this?

Some checking - I've just forwarded a meeting request from my work exchange through to my home exchange server - on the windows mobile device, the meeting request displays with the time one hour in the future.

On my MacBook - the request shows the correct time.

If I then accept on the MacBook - the appointment goes into the calendar with the correct date/time.  This appears in both the MacBook and the windows mobile devices as the correct time.

So - it would seem that it's the accepting of appointments on the windows mobile device that have an issue!

This is on my HTC TyTN II - I've just testing the ASuS 1210 (Aka the Vodafone 1210) - That has exactly the same problem.

Both phones have the DST 2008 patch installed.
