Very fundamental question-
can a game/software designed for Pocket PC be also installed in i-mate pocket pc phone edition?

Yes. All software for Windows Mobile Pocket PC run on the i-mate. The only different functionality is the built-in GSM radio and telephone functions.

Another related question. i-mate PPC phone Edn. does not have a ARM processor, does it? Because some of the software is meant for ARM. e.g. Check out the following s/ware which is for PPC2003 ARM Only-

The Handango site does not list i-mate as one of the manufactureres. In such cases which is the closest XDA or Qtek?
