Hi all,

Just stumbled across this.

Legitimate free downloads via ad support. Haven't had a complete browse yet, but I see some excellent titles for download including the Darkest Fear trilogy and Townsmen 1-3.

Worth a trip just to get Darkest Fear 3 and Townsmen 3 I reckon...

It looks like a spam-filled site (with lots of keyword heavy links at the bottom) - also the downloads are "free" but are these original games or cracked versions? Are they licensed to actually offer those titles?

I couldn't find anything like "licensed" or similar words. I would say these are not "kosher" downloads.

Hmmm. Sounds dodgy. But hey, if you install a program and it starts sending SMS to premium numbers...

The websites definitely legit, sourced from www.pocketgamer.co.uk. Don't know about premium SMS etc, but I'll look into it some more.

EDIT: More searching only confirms legitmacy for this website, no cost to the user and what model the software is being distributed under (5 tries trial, ad supported) is clearly indicated.

Not sure, still digging.

Also found this site, again legitimate free games downloads (and more great titles) - these do use data (typically 5 to 15 kilobytes of data according to them).

Titles available here that received good reviews:

Tower Bloxx
Mafia Wars: Yakuza
Age of Heroes IV
Rollercoaster Rush
Tibia Gold Edition
Ego
As well as some retro treats like Golden Axe...

Why? There are so many good mobile games that aren't gage!
