We have a 920 which we gave to a relative to use. The screen has become unresponsive. The phone still works, it can be unlocked and receive incoming calls but the touchscreen is unresponsive.

It seems this problem can be caused by a firmware fault. Reflashing the firmware can fix it.

I tried reflashing using Windows Device Recovery Tool. The firmware version provided by the Recovery Tool was older than the current firmware on the phone. I decided anything was better than nothing so went ahead. I tried two or three time but each time the flashing process failed.

Nokia Software Updater (NSU) for Retail was another option suggested. I haven't managed to get this to work yet as it seems I haven't downloaded the correct file. I found a bunch of files for the correct ROM on Lumia Firmware but perhaps haven't got the correct one.

Has anyone been successful in reflashing a Lumia.

Any hints on either reflashing or fixing the problem appreciated.

Thanks
