Hi
I'll start by saying I'm useless when it comes to technology.

I have a Clie TJ37 and am trying to use internet via a wireless router where i work.
We can connect but cannot get any pages to open. Keeps coming up with "invalid url or address) the address i'm using to test is www.google.com!!

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Start by using a PING utility. PING www.wired.com and PING 209.202.221.21.

If you get www.wired.com translated into it IP address, connection is ok. If you don't but the PING to the IP address works, then you have to configure the DNS server addresses.

If both PING work, then check that your browser is not configured to use a proxy server.

Go to Prefs | Network, and select Options. Choose View Log. To check your DNS is working fine, scroll to the bottom of this log, and enter PING and a hostname. Use the Return stroke as an Enter and you'll see a result like this...
