Hi Everyone

I'm appealing to everyone that has successfully upgraded their Okta Touch to Windows Mobile 6.1 to activate GPS / RevA. I followed the tutorial here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24979, and I went with the Sprint ROM as I saw in another Geekzone thread that people have had success with this with their Okta Touches.

The problem is... my phone is acting like its not programmed now. If I try to call out I get the "Welcome to Telecom, blah blah your phone may not be correctly programmed bla blah" message, but when I go into the programming menu it does have the correct entries in there. If I try to ring my mobile from my landline, it rings once and then cuts out. The mobile also registers the call took place and shows one missed call.

I am *really* panicking... I followed these instructions to the letter, I ran the unlocker, I did not allow Sprint customisations to run, so now I am completely stuck.

Does anyone know how I can fix this or if there is another ROM I should try to load onto it?

Cheers!

Steve

I thought I'd better update this so I don't look like a total idiot. I called Telecom and it seems the problem was that my mobile had dropped off the network somehow. After a couple of minutes they had me back up and running again. The upgrade was well worth it!
