Ok. i helped my sister installing some program and adding mp3 etc to her palmOne Zire 72. great.

but some of the program was installed then tested and found out not required/wanted at this stage, so she wanted to remove them. Sadly, there isn't any application manager or such tool to remove. and when go into the Home > Delete, there are heaps of "program" listed but they don't make good sense of their name. how do i know which one to delete?

Mainly I want to remove Web Pro (and MMS messenger, tried removing SMS Message Lib but said it is not removable)

Help please!

To delete an application from your palmOne Zire '72' you can tap on the time icon in the upper left corner of the screen and select 'Delete' from the menu. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Web Pro from the list. Tap delete and select 'Yes' from the dialog box displayed. Also select WP_P2P and do the same. This should safely remove the application from the handheld. The Web Pro was on the install cd-rom that came with my '72'. Also note any lock icons next to apps as these are in system rom and cannot be removed by the owner.

Alternately, if you have an alternate launcher such as Launcher X then you can drag 'n drop delete. The default Palm launcher is not very user friendly in such matters :-(

I also had a similar difficulty with Z Launcher on my first '72'. I had to close it out, return to the 'factory' launcher then use the upper left time icon to delete any programs.
