I want to connect a HHP Dolphin 7400 Pocket PC with my desktop pc using cradle and COM (serial) port. I have Windows XP Professional and ActiveSync 3.7.1.

When I run ActiveSync I get the message that the device was not connected. But COM 1 and 3 are available (COM 2 not installed). I tried all the trouble shooting but was not successful.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate your help! Many thanks.

Do you have anything connected to COM1 or COM3? Is there an internal modem perhaps in one of these?

COM1 and COM3 shouldn't be used at the same time.

The Dolphin 7400 series can be harder to connect than the latest WM 2003 devices. If you are still having problems, contact us and we will help sort it out for you.
