Hey guys,
recently I've seen the deals for the nokia n95, and i finally decided to buy one even though I missed the christmas bargains,
but I have gone to just about every store and all of them are sold out on n95's and get this, they arent allowed to order any?!?
My question is, anyone on the inside have any idea when retailers will get some stock of n95 in and anyone know where the best deal to get one is?

All the current N95 promos have been to clear out stock - it's now and end of line model.

Sorry for double post,
Just figured out the clear out sotck thing was reading it wrong, but still dont understand "end of line model"?
Does that mean they will not sell it anymore....?

'End of line' simply means, they no longer are making that model, which could be for a variety of reasons, but most likely they have released a new model that replaces said model.

'Clear out stock' means many of the shops (not all) that were selling this model, are discounting it greatly to get rid of them, in anticiapation of the newer models that are to replace it.

Its not to say they are no longer available, they are...just harder to find as they will only be in some stores with little old stock, and they may not be discounted like the major chains have done to clear out their stock.
A quick google or pricespy search and you should find some available still in stock...but maybe not at the price you want...you have missed the specials.

The N95 is now a pretty old handset having been around for around 18 months. Since then the N95 8GB has been launched as well effectively as a replacement as it fixed some of the issues in the original handset and increased the memory size.

By end of line I mean it's a discontinued product that has been reduced to clear out existing stocks and you may or may not see any more stock in NZ, it just depends whether Nokia have stock that they want to repackage for the NZ market or just call it quits. Even the N95 8GB is now getting on and has effectively been replaced by the N96 in some markets such as the UK.
