Hi guys, i am new to this forum and have a really important question.

We have the toshiba e740 pocket pc. we were told when we brought it, it had bluetooth. Have looked everywhere in the unit to find bluetooth, ie it should be in the start menu or connections etc. All we have is the switch o nthe bottom for wifi??? I am aware that there were 3 models of the e740. One pocket pc, one with wifi and one with bluetooth. How do i tell the difference, how do i find bluetooth. Do i need an adapter???

Hmmm. I'm not sure about the e740, but I have a few screenshots of a e750, where you can see the Bluetooth apps that come with this device.

Check on Start | Settings if you have a Device Manager or Asset Viewer. There you'll be able to see all hardware installed. Look for Bluetooth Radio or similar.

I have turned on the toshiba e740, and i have tried to find bluetooth by comparing it to my other pda the ipaq 5450. And in settings, connections tab, then network adapters, it should then have bluetooth as the adapter installed if the unit actually does have bluetooth i think????? Any ideas?
