Hello everyone,

I have the integrated modem 2032 SP pocket pc phone with Sprint PCS. And, I also have unlimited minutes PCS vision plan which means I have acess to the internet all the time and any time. I was wondering, is it possible to connect my home pc to the internet via my mobile phone cradle. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Riyad

rabdelq - you should be able to use the cru5050 cradle to have the connection to your desktop. Then under accessories you should find wireless modem. Using this you should be able to use the modem function of your device. Do note, that sometimes data and minutesd are billed differently. I'd make sure you have unlimitted data again before surfing too much. Also, remember that your connection speed isn't going to be the best!

You might want to update your phone by picking up the latest release here:

Hope this helps...

Unlimited does not really mean unlimited. Their is a 1gb limit/mo. If you exceed it your service will be suspended.

Keep it under a gb and you will be good-

But really, 1GB on a single month on a mobile connection? Hard to believe someone will use that much.

True, for mobile use. Be he intends on using it as a modem for desktop/laptop access. It is more than feasible to use a gb in a month. I know of people getting shut off becasue they exceeded the limit on their treos streaming music pockettunes!

Now, this is a lot of streaming! I know some companies are placing lower limits in broadband services because of users downloading too much. I wonder if mobile operators in the US will start doing this too. Mind you, it's pratically only in the US that you can find unlimited data usage on mobile plans.
