Hello,

So here's the deal. I'm trying to get wireless sync set up between the AudioVox VX6600 and a networked computer running Windows XP. But here's the tricky part, due to the security restrictions of our company, individual users are not allowed to permanently have admin or install permissions on their computers. I have gotten temporary user admin rights to install the IntelliSync PC Monitor software. The wireless synchronization works wonderfully while the computer has the local admin permissions, however once I take away the local admin permissions the IntelliSync PC Monitor software will not even start-up.

I'm open to any possible solutions any of you may be able to come up with.

In the mean time, my two lines of thought for a solution are this:
1) If I can figure out what folders and/or registry keys are written to by PC Monitor I may be able to grant write permission just to those folders/RKs without allowing cart blanch local admin on the computer. the thing is I don't know what folders/RKs to use, can any of you help me with this?

2) I read somewhere that setting up IMAP email might help with this, but I don't know anything about IMAP or how to implement it. Again any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Kind regards.
