Nothing defined on HTC front yet - XDA Developers is also something that would invalidate your warranty, and most times they only deal with the GSM/GPRS devices, not CDMA.

They were quite good doing interim releases of Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition updates.

If I had to guess (and obviously I do have to guess because I don't know) I'd say it's pretty unlikely. The Harrier has the combination of large RAM and comparatively limited ROM space that has been ideal for all previous incarnations of Windows Mobile.
Since Windows Mobile relies relies on persistent storage (programs and files are no longer installed in RAM), I suspect the ROM on the Harrier would be too small to be practical (it makes me wonder if HP knew something when they released the hx4700).
It's a shame, since it's the Phone Edition devices that will benefit most from WM5, but it looks like it's just one of those things

Hi KevDaly,

What are the key differences that make life better for phone edition users?

It would have to be a quantum leap in features before I would bother updating my Harrier, and it would need to be cheap enough to be worth doing, otherwise i would just wait for the next device to be available with it preinstalled.
