Hi guys, I just wanted to ask a question, I was wondering how I can fix my Toshiba E740, It has a problem where on MSN Messenger, I cannot connect to it. It says "Logon to MSN Messenger Service failed because the server s not compatible with this version of the program" It's odd, because I already got that new patch. I really want to get this to work, please if you can help, I'd appreciate it.

It doesn't sound like the patch is installed. You have to download the correct version from the Microsoft's MSN Messenger Update for Pocket PC and Pocket PC Phone Edition page.

Soft reset your Pocket PC before installing to make sure MSN Messenger is not running during the install. Also make sure to use Add/Remote on ActiveSync to remove any previous installation.

Also, how are you trying to connect? Via ActiveSync, wireless LAN, etc?

I got this one.. MSN® Messenger Update for Pocket PC/Pocket PC Phone Edition 2002

My pocket PC is a 2002 afterall.
I'm using a Wireless LAN network.

Also, I'm not really sure how to soft restart my PDA, because it resets all my data if I pull off the power.
