Hi,

Does anyone know how to do the data accounts/pxt setup for Vodafone on a SP3i? they have a setup guide for the SP2 but I've done that, GPRS works, but the MMS side doesnt, not sure what I've done wrong, or havent done?

The configuration is exactly the same for the Smartphone2 in terms of servers and ports.

Make sure the Data Connections in the MMS Network points to Voda MMS (or whatever name you entered). Voda MMS should be added through the Edit Connections (accessible through the Menu key on Data Connections) and should be a GPRS type connection, Connects to MMS Network, Access Point live.vodafone.com.

On your MMS Settings make sure to select MMS Network in the Connect via field.

On the MMSC settings use MMSC URL http://pxt.vodafone.net.nz/pxtsend, WAP Gateway 172.30.38.3, Port 9201.

That's pretty much it...

Legend.

I found where I screwed up. I dont have "MMS Network" and was setting it using a Secure WAP.

Only I forgot to link the MMS settings to use the Secure WAP. Works now tho ;)

I love this phone :D
