hi,
anyone has info about formatting sd card from a pda?
Also if you backup info into sd card using backup/restore and try restoring into a diff pda, it does not work. any thoughts about this...

Into a different brand of PDA maybe?

I very often backup HTC Harriers onto SD Cards, and restore it on a different unit, and everything seems to work 100%. The only thing that doesnt is the phone settings (understandably), which i do manually.

To formact the card you can either use a card reader on your PC, or a software like Pocket Mechanic.

As for backup, it can only be restored to the same PDA model and OS version.
