Hi,
I am new here and I think my question will strike a common chord. Ever feel you are hauling around Tech Pacifics warehouse with you? At the moment I have a tablet (tc4200), smartphone 2 and an Ipaq 4700. I am an IT consultant /reseller and feel it nessecary to use all this technology, but am starting to feel it is too much! I went back to the Smartphone after an unsatisfactory relationship with an Ipaq 6315 (That is just too big to be a phone!). The 'problem' is that there is too much crossover across these devices. Just which device should I use to check my email - they can all do it.
I am leaning to getting a small 3g phone - probably the Samsung Z500 and use this at the connection point for the Ipaq or the tablet when I am mobile...both devices have wireless and is available at all my clients anyway, so maybe I don't eeven need that. With the Samsung I will miss not being able to activesync appointments and contacts, maybe that will make me use the ipaq more effectively?
Has anyone had experience with Bluetooth connectivity to the hx4700 or the tc4200 from the Samsung? This will be the first Samsung phone I have ever had and what attracted me to it is the small size, and 3G for data (Remote desktop etc).
Really just looking for feedback on the way I am heading, I am sure that many 'geeks' out there have gone down this road....how did you resolve the issue of managing all the tools (toys?)?
