Ok, Nothing really new, seems more stable now, mp4 videos seem to play smoother, and I think the radio thru the headset seems louder now??
Faster response going in between screens.
There was no difference with phone memory
before v2.1 I had 36.5 mb free on C drive with the Free Ovi maps
I upgraded to v2.1 and had the same memory 36.5 mb

I went to the Green Arrow SW update in the applications menu to find if the memory reorganiser was there, It was not, so I went into settings, application manager, installed apps and deleted the reorganiser uninstall. Then I was able to go back to the Green Arrow SW update, which refreshed the files and the memory reorganiser was there to download again. I downloaded and installed then went back into the application folder and ran the application....and gained at least 3.5mb so now have 40mb free on C again

Edited, thanks JohnSmile

I think the reason for this update was to eliminate the issue that many were having regading the new Ovi Maps free navigation downlaod.

It wasn't available for the N97 but people were downloading the N97 mini version..

This is probably that bug fix so they can release maps 3.3 for the N97 officially.

Noticed the n97 less tempermental with some of my mp4 music videos, seems to be more stable and play Ipod formatted MP4s...It would not do this for me in version 2.0

No FLV support though

Why does my Nokia 5800 support playing FLV files in Real Player....and N97 does not??

Maps 3.3 was made available 3 days before this update.
