I have read most of the posts regarding using the Tungsten T to browse the internet via bluetooth, and have a variation that I have not read about. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

PDA - Tungsten T (Web Browser Pro)
BT - Hawking USB, 1.3.2.7 software
Windows 2000 ICS, static IP for TT, DNS addresses of ISP

I have found that I can browse the internet without any DNS errors for a few minutes, and then the connection will start to fail with DNS and connection errors. No matter what steps are taken (reset of TT, Stop/Start BT device) it will not work again until the laptop is restarted. HotSync via BT works about 95% of the time, and does not have the same problem. Is the TT loading my current DNS cache, and then failing when it tries to do its own DNS update?

Open the device manager by following this: (Windows key + Break key), Hardware tab, Device Manager button, Universal Serial Bus Controllers item.

For each item, make sure there's no check in the box "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power" as shown in the dialog image below:

Also, be sure to have the USB dongle connected directly to a USB port in your computer, not via a USB Hub (not even powered ones).
