Hello all,

I have a PDA Acer n50 Premium and a 802.11b wireless network (my router is a Linksys BEFW11S4).

The router does not have DHCP enable and I use WEP.

I think in can connect my PDA to my WLAN (I am using the IP 192.168.1.111 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0 and 2 DNS servers configured on my PDA).

When I open Pocket IE and type a URL I always get the message "The page you are looking for cannot be found".

Can someone help me?

Thanks.

Welcome to Geekzone... You might want to try two things:

1.Install the free VxUtil software and use it to PING a known site, by name. See if it responds. If it fails then you will have to look at your network configuration.

2.If the PING is ok, then open File Explorer on your Pocket PC, browse to \Windows and execute welcome.exe. Follow the instructions, soft reset the Pocket PC and try again.
