Help! I have no e mail notification on my i paq when new mail arrives, i have checked the sound and it is checked with the 'notify' sound. any ideas?

Is the Inbox configured to check e-mal on the schedule, and that's when the notification is not coming?

The Notification configuration allows sound, LED and display (a notification on a "bubble"). Are al these options set for "New email message"?

yes i checked all the right boxes, set to check every minute, visual notification comes up (inbox on today screen will say 1 new message), should be making a noise really
