Hi y'all

I've been reading Geekzone forums for some time now and I always find some pearls of wisdom, so I thought I'd give it a shot for my issue with the bluetooth mouse...

I know Stowaway has the keyboard/mouse combo with matching software but since I already have a Microsoft bluetooth mouse I was wondering if anybody knows how to make it work??

I am using ActiveSync 4.1, and a Mobile 5.0 powered AximX50v.
The Axim acknowledges the HID in range and even pairs it up, but no pointer appears or action happens, whatsoever. Am I doing something wrong here?
Do I need additional drivers?

Thank in advance you for your ideas!

Cesar

Welcome to Geekzone... All Bluetooth devices will pair, and in most cases identify the services other Bluetooth device offer. But it's not enough in some cases to have it working.

In this case, you are right, the mouse uses the HID service, but the Pocket PC doesn't have this in its software - you will need a driver. AFAIK there's no third party driver, so if you want to use a Bluetooth mouse you will have to get the Stowaway...

Thanks, Maurício.

I was kinda hoping you wouldn't gimme the answer you just did but...

I am assuming the Stowaway software for the mouse is specific for their device and wouldn't work with mine, now would it?!?

How hard can it be to write a driver for my mouse??
Anyone care to guess? Food for thoughts!

All ideas are welcome.
