Obiviously most of the New Zealand users will have a HTC Trophy, sourced from Vodafone. Other telcos will bring more devices later, but some are planning to get from parallel importers.

What did you get?

I had a look at a trophy that one of the guys at work got, nice screen etc but I'm a bit underwelmed by the whole WP7 release day really. Surely MS should have hit with the best possible handset - i.e. as close to an iphone killer as possible. Instead we get the eqiv of a 3GS 8GB with less apps.

I hope the next wave of devices are a lot better for MS's sake or WP7 could be a fizzer.

Disclaimer: currently own an iphone 4 upgraded from a 3GS but have owned both HTC apache and touch Windows device's in the past.

So you didn't get one then? Your post is off topic.

Looking at the LG unit at the moment followed by the Trophy as an option. Won't be getting one until end of November (when current plan finishes).

I've just ordered a HTC Trophy. Looking forward to having a decent play, only got 5 mins in the Vodafone shop before the salesman was crawling all over me....

HTC Trophy - nice device - loving the performance, interface and camera. Coming from a Treo Pro I'm having to adapt to not having real buttons Surprised

@TermiPete, I switched from Palm Treo Pro. Enjoying it. Finally AirNZ has mPass, so it completed my basic/essential apps and tools. WPTumblr be good except it will cost me $1.69, not ready to part money on an app yet when WP7 Marketplace is still in its infancy.

Have an HTC 7 Mozart on order (Aussie Telstra NextG model to run on XT).  Planning to dismantle it and upgrade the microsSD card to 32GB.

Not an issue for me atm - I have a Novatel MiFi 2372 running perfectly on Telecom XT.

I'm confident Microsoft's 7 Phone platform will receive significant ongoing development to become fully competitive - I'm happy to jump aboard now and ride the wave with all it's current limitations.
