I have deleted a hole lot of contacts from my PC but they remain on my PDA. I don't want them sync'd back to my PC, and also i want them gone from the PDA. With my Palm, you could control what happened at sync time ie. whether you wanted a sync, or which device overrode the other.

How does this work on Pocket PCs? (using MS Outlook 2000)

Ascroft, ActiveSync will give you the same type of synchronisation as the Hotsync when it comes to this database. The records you've deleted from the Outlook PIM should be removed from your Pocket PC on the next sync.
