that was my first seach, and the first result almost tells you on the Google search page itself... (but not quite... so you click through and it does).
Ok here we go boys and girls, first type a dash "-" by pressing the blue key and then the letter "s", then hit the "alt" on the right of the space bar, then you will be given a list of alternative characters including the equals "=" symbol
