Im trying to use my gmail acoount with MFE on E72 but am getting 'unable to sybc. conatct adminstartor if problem persists'

All my setting are correct but it just wont sync.

Telecom XT E72 . latest firmware.

This does not even sound right should you not be using Nokia mail?

Whyt are you trying to sync it using a Mail For Exchange account? Using a Gmail account type in ther Nokia email app will work fine.

MfE is a perfect match for Googe Gmail if you want push. It works based on ActiveSync, nothing wrong with that.

To the OP, what server are you using? You should be using m.gmail.com as your ActiveSync server. More instructions here: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=147951

Google mfe syncs my gmail, contacts, calendar very reliably to my iphone4. I dunno why I can't get it running correctly on my e72.
