Hi !
I recived a billinton BT usb dongle for my birthday 2 months ago. I cant get the ¤%#¤ thing to work with my Nokia 3650. I`ve looked in every forum i could find with yahoo,google,altavista........ ofcourse here at geekzone too . I can send files (pictures, music) to my pc but i can`t send anything to my phone and i can`t even open pc-suite at all. Why ? Please help me !!!!!!! I hate this thing. The software looks exactly like the one in the step by step guide found here.
Once again - please help ..............Or maybe i can use my usb dongle as a screwdriver or something........Maybe put it in my xmas tree.

Merry x-mas to you all

I have the same problem and I my com port is set to com0 which does not come up in the conkia connection manger.

I am stumped. I send file to phoen and back but nokia suite won't see the com0 port?

why?

The COM service is independent of the OBEX File transfer. The COM Port 0 could be a problem with the existing Windows configuration when installing Bluetooth or the Connection Manager.

You have to install the Nokia software after Bluetooth. If not, remove the Nokia Suite and install again.

yeah I installed it on laptop and it worked first time! Obviously problem with PC.

However, it did use a COM7 port not like PC that used COM0. I wonder if that is a problem? All exmaples use a port > 0.

Good to know it worked on the laptop. Yep... COM 0 indicates some crazy configuration issues :)

Yeah I found that my desktop has Win2000 SP4 and laptop does have any SPs. I wonder if that is the difference?? Do you know or heard of anything that could comfirm my suspicions?
