I wonder if you could help me.

Is it possible to get TomTom on PDAs like imate-Jam.?

What do I need to get Map & Directions on my PDA. Whats the cost involved?

Do I only pay once for the software or Do I also pay for the connection to download the Maps/Directions ?

Thanks for teh info .

Yes, it is possible to run TomTom on the i-mate Jam. You just need to purchase a copy of the software and download it to your computer or receive a CD. You buy TomTom directly at http://www.tomtom.com/.

The cost involved is the software, plus a Bluetooth GPS so that your PDA can find its position. We have lots of GPS reviews, check our review section.

Thanks for the answer.

As I understand it: GPS receiver will calculate the location. Using Bluetooth, GPS receiver will communicate with the PDA the location. The PDA will display the Map. Is this correct?

Thanks
